Rented on its own, or with other of the barns (the adjoining Bull Pen has an optional connecting door, accessed from its courtyard), The Stables is a fabulously welcoming and sociable space. Its palette of dark greys, greens and creams (with amazing Verdigris-themed Master bedroom and bathroom) perfectly complement the ancient wooden roof beams of the original building housing the horses of a working Cotswold farm. Choose to entertain in the large living room with central log burner, or cosy down with a film in the ‘snug room’ – the ultimate teenage hangout space. Guests can expect textured, contemporary interiors, long drop lighting, walls adorned with pieces by local artists and photographers, imaginatively tiled ensuite bathrooms, cosy spaces and open-living. Throw a sociable dinner party in the open-plan kitchen/dining room, spill out for al fresco cocktails, or snuggle down for a quiet evening around the log burner.
The Space
With four Superking bedrooms (two of which can be converted to twins) each with their own uniquely styled ensuite bathroom, this elegantly converted stable block is perfect for family or small group gatherings. Socialise together in the spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area, eat at the sunny garden table, or escape for some quiet time in the separate ‘snug room’. Enjoy the delightful details from leather-topped bedroom ottomans to luxury bath bubbles; and there’s even a boot room and utility room for returning from muddy walks.
Inclusions
Every guest can expect the full use of a concierge service from the point of booking - booking restaurants/tickets, arranging catering or stocking the fridge; together with the following: a welcome hamper on arrival; a fully equipped high-spec kitchen; high-speed fibreoptic WiFi, Smart TV; Sonos wireless speakers; luxury linen, towels and bedding (feather or alternatives); natural botanical bathroom products; stairgate, highchair and BabyBjorn travel cot (on request); essential supplies eg. washing-up liquid, loo/kitchen roll and tea and coffee; plenty of logs for the wood burner; and secure on-site parking. Up to a maximum of two dogs are welcome downstairs in the barn, for just a £50 cleaning surcharge per dog.
